Welcome to the Westbrook’s Elementary Library Page
My name is Donette Griffith and I am so excited to be your child’s librarian. We have had an exciting year in the library. It was a thrill to have Chris Rumble, Author/Illustrator visit our school this year. We learned what it takes to be an author/illustrator and had a lot of fun singing. Our annual book fair in the fall was a great success. Not only did our students purchase books, but we were able to add new books to our library collection. This year, many of our students have utilized the library for research projects, especially for God’s World Day. And we continue each day to work on AR goals. Congratulations to the students that have made their goal! Each week, it is exciting to have first graders discover a special new book in the library during story time. I love being able to see your children each day and help guide them in checking out books and doing research projects. If I can be of assistance to you and your family, please let me know. My email address is: dgriffith@westbrookchristian.org.
Thanks!

In this link up I would like to make you aware of Box Tops for Education and how to find AR reading levels and points.
Box Tops for Education
This year, we raised $744.00 to purchase books and equipment for our school library. Please continue to collect Box Tops and turn them in to the library. One of the easiest ways you can make a difference is to sign up for Box Top for Education. It’s easy, free and you’ll learn about new ways to help our school earn the extra cash it needs.
AR Books
Your child may have books at home and you may be wondering what their AR levels and point values are. You can go to Renlearn.com. At the home page (right side) click: Visit Our Online Store. At this page you will see a blue box entitled Quiz Store. Click: Quiz Search. At this page, type in the name of the book or author and it will pull up the level of the book and its points. At this point you are not ordering a quiz, but simply finding the level and point value.
